Furga Doll
Furga Dolls are made in Italy. This doll was most likely made in the 1960's or 1970's. Furga: 14 inch Alta Mode Style Fashion Doll Furga doll: I think these dolls were called Alta Mode dolls? They were little fashion plate dolls with tailored gowns. Miss A. Mode has a velveteen gown with white ruffles and a wired petticoat with lots of ruffles, and bloomers with more ruffles. Her shoes and socks are replaced. The bonnet is original but is missing some white feathers that trimmed the front. She is 14 or 15 inches tall. Her hair is in the original style and is like new.
