Uneeda 1967 Baby Bumpkins MIB Baby Bumpkins MIB 1967 Adorable die-cut PINK BOX - by Uneeda This 1967 MIB Baby Bumpkins doll is adorable and so is the box! Everything is just like new. Some thoughtful person wrapped the doll and box in modern shrinkwrap, which has also helped to preserve this pristine set. So I did not unwrap the doll for the photos.
The doll measures approximately 17-18 inches and the box measures 11.5" wide and 20 inches high. This Bumpkins babydoll is almost 18". She is wearing a very cute pink dress with white lace bib overlay. This Baby Bumpkins has the Baby Dollikin face mold: the same sweet smile, big eyes and cute little dimples at the corners of the eyes. I like to collect this dolly face, in all sizes: it's the best of all the vintage dolly faces IMO.
The die-cut scooter is a darling way to display this cute doll. (And did you notice that the scooter is riding on a yellow-brick road?) The bottom of the box shows that the doll was made in MCMLXVII, which means 1967. Uneeda used Roman numerals a lot in the 1960's and 70's. Baby Bumpkins was a name that Uneeda used over and over. (The first Baby Bumpkins was a tears doll that was 13" long.)
