Vintage 1961 American Character 21 inch Betsy McCall Doll with original outfit. This lovely doll is like new. The body style is similar to that of Miss Ideal and Madame Alexander Mimi.
Betsy McCall is jointed at neck, shoulders, wrists, hips and ankles, so she is very poseable. Made of all vinyl and plastic.
Betsy McCall is unmarked. This doll was mistakenly identified as a Uneeda doll in a vintage doll magazine, but she is not a Uneeda. I've seen this doll mint in an original box, which says she's made by American Character.
