Holly Dolls were designed by Marie-Luise Schulz. They are approximately 17 inches tall, all vinyl dolls, strung jointed, rooted hair, painted features. Their stylized faces are similar to Sasha or Sylvia Natterer dolls but they are somewhat more expressive. The dolls are a little smaller than Magic Attic Club dolls, but they can wear the same clothes as Magic Attic.
White Balloon Doll company in Spain made very lovely artist dolls by Helen Kish, Sylvia Natterer, Marie Louise Shulz, Kids at Heart, Sandra Bilotto and others. Some of their dolls were sold through Paradise Galleries in the United States. White Balloon went out of business after the economy crashed in 2009; many doll companies shut their doors after the economic crisis.
