Tiny Coquette Blonde 1960's Uneeda - Continental Flair. Coquette was originally introduced in 1962 and became one of Uneeda's own unique character dolls for the next 20 years. She was sold under many names, but since she was introduced as Coquette (the doll with the Continental Flair) I have always referred to this face as the Coquette face.
She is distinctive because of the slightly slanted French coquettish eyes and a little dimple on her chin. This doll was most likely made in the early 1960's since she actually has the Coquette name. The box is undated.
She is wearing a velveteen flocked dress which was also typical of the early 1960's. Doll is 11 inches tall with sleepy eyes. She has a cute Pixie face. A French street cafe scene is on the side of the box.
