AO Dewdrop Doll
1950's DEWDROP all soft vinyl ORIGINAL BUBBLE SUIT. This is the prettiest DewDrop doll that I've had. Her soft vinyl still has the pretty peachy color, her face paint is vibrant, and eyes are clear and sparkly. Her golden honey blonde hair is clean and shiny. The cute cotton bubble suit is original: it has the classic Uneeda donut snap on the back. Dewdrop was a Tiny Tears competitor: a drink and wet dolly. If you look closely at the eyes you can see her tear ducts right in the center of the lower eyelid: if you gave the doll some water she cried real tears. (If the doll does not have the tear ducts she was more likely to be a Sweetums babydoll instead.) Dewdrop is a large, full-size babydoll: she is 19 inche long. She is jointed at hips, shoulders and neck. The fingers on her left hand are in the sign language position for - I love you! This was also typical of many of the Uneeda dolls.
