Uneeda Debteen Bride
Uneeda Debteen Bride AO with Box 1962 This Debteen Bride is in amazing condition. Her satin dress is still crispy like new. The doll has vinyl head and arms. Her legs and body are plastic. She has high-heel feet. The doll is 23 or 24 inches tall. The box is 26 x 13 x 4.5
Debteen Bride was most likely made in the early 1960's. I believe I had this same doll as a child, given to me in 1962 (but mine was a brunette.) The doll is not marked UNEEDA, but she is in a Uneeda box and the gown she is wearing has the typical Uneeda donut snaps on the back (see the photo below). The donut snaps are a way to identify Uneeda items. Most likely Uneeda used a generic bride doll from the mold-maker and dressed it themselves.
