Uneeda Bild Lilli style 1960's Fashion Doll
This vintage 11.5 inch fashion doll has a molded one piece vinyl body (legs are part of the body.) The arms are separate, so she is jointed at shoulders and neck. The head is soft vinyl and the body/arms are good quality plastic. She has the Bild Lilli style doll face. Most likely she was made in the 1960's sometime.
This doll is fairly well made. I had another Bild Lilli type not so long ago but it was made so cheap there wasn't much about the doll that was appealing. This doll is better quality.
The taffeta dress appears to be original. The bodice of the dress is yellowed from old starch, the rest of the dress looks good. It still has original vintage flowers on it. No shoes.
Face color is good. Eyes have the glamorous molded lashes that Bild Lilli is famous for. Her shiny dark brown hair is in the original ponytail and has the original curl in it. I don't think the doll was played with at all, she's in good vintage condition with no damage to the doll that I can see. Her neck is marked with a U, so she was made by Uneeda Doll Company.
