This is a fabulous 1950's classic bendable vinyl babydoll in her original dress and box. It's rare to find them in such lovely condition. She has the durable vinyl fairyskin 1 piece body with bendable legs, so she can sit in a chair nicely. The vinyl fairyskin was an improved doll body type which replaced the earlier latex fairyskin which is delicate and did not hold up very well. This doll has held up very well.
She has deep blue eyes that are very pretty and full lashes. Her rooted blonde hair is in the original set but she does have a bit of bed-head from laying in her box for so long. (Use a hair pick to lift the hair and restore the original style to fluffy prettiness.)
Her tag says that she is all vinyl and will not deteriorate, which is true. She is washable and safe and soft. Permabend limbs have a wire armature in the legs - so she can bend and hold poses.
Her original pink taffeta dress with black and white trims is very pretty and very 1950's. Her box has some watermarks on the outside that are not on the inside, so the doll was not affected. The doll does have some minor spots and yellowing due to age. She is approximately 18 inches long.
