Big Baby Betsy Wetsy
Betsy Wetsy 21" Ideal Big Babydoll Original Dress.
This is such a sweet babydoll: one of the best from the 1950's or early 60's. She is all vinyl with joints in the usual places: neck, shoulders and hips. The arms seem to be strung-jointed though, which makes them more poseable.
The doll is like new in many ways even thought she's 50+ years old. I think the dress might be original. It's certainly old and it fits as if made for her.
She has beautiful face color: very fresh and pretty. Her pretty blue eyes are bright and sparkly with full lashes. Her hair still has the original curls. It doesn't look as if she's been played with much, if ever. This doll is a squeaker: if you squeeze her head, she squeaks. She is 21 inches tall, so this Betsy Wetsy is a nice full size babydoll.
