Clara Barton Nurse Doll - Carnival Doll - 1950's maybe. I'm guessing this is an old carnival doll, the kind sold at fairs and carnivals. Or it may have been a dimestore doll. It's plastic, strung jointed, with sleepy eyes and very pretty mohair wig glued on. Her blue sleepy eyes are especially bright and pretty. They're very clear so the camera makes it look as if the eyes are sunken in a bit but actually there's nothing wrong with the eyes. Face color is good. The outfit is just a rough-made garment that's partly glued together. I'm assuming she's Nurse Clara Barton or perhaps a Curity doll. She's very clean but there is a stain on her apron. She even has little teeny shoes (they're not painted on.) The socks are painted. She can stand on her own even though she's not strung real tight. Approximately 6.5 inches tall.
